Macai was founded by Pete Hawes in 1989 with the Macai name coming from Mid Anglia Construction and Interiors. Macai cut its teeth in the interior sectors as a general contractor and was soon recognised as a solid and dependable company with a good client base and sound reputation. The second generation Nigel Hawes is now leading the company and with new directorships and an energetic structure in place we’re ready to meet the next phase of growth. We are financially stable, in really good shape and ready to meet the challenges of the 2013 and beyond.
Our experience has led us to build something of a philosophy too. We believe a correlation exists between the quality of the relationship our project team, our suppliers and customers share and the quality of service and product we deliver. It means our people are of paramount importance.
Given repeat business stands at over 90%, our customers must be in agreement.
